Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with HR records
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve employee issues within 24 hours
- Prepare payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement process improvements using Excel and payroll software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- FPC or CPP certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and Virginia payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
