Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for federal clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
- Implement internal controls and audit procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting
- Maintain compliance with SEC and federal regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Deep understanding of federal tax regulations
- Experience with non-profit or government accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
