Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP or equivalent software.
- Verify timesheets, leave requests, and overtime hours for accuracy.
- Prepare and issue payroll tax filings, including W-2s and 1099s, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files in accordance with privacy laws.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee questions regarding pay stubs and deductions.
- Collaborate with the HR team to update compensation data and process new hire onboarding.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks) is required.
- Strong knowledge of FLSA regulations, state wage laws, and tax reporting requirements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
