Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos with risk ratings, repayment capacity analysis, and approval recommendations
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations, economic trends, and credit policy updates
- Document all credit analysis activities in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Present findings clearly to senior stakeholders through concise written reports and presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg Terminal)
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, ratio calculations, and risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to synthesize complex financial data
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a part-time capacity
- Familiarity with credit reporting systems (e.g., Moody's, S&P Global) preferred
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) a plus
