Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess applicant risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit evaluations and recommend approval/decline decisions
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit terms for clients
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Generate detailed reports on credit trends and portfolio performance
- Stay current on industry regulations affecting credit analysis practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit risk assessment certifications (CRC, CCE preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical reasoning
