Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit risk evaluations for corporate and commercial clients
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to determine creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable recommendations for senior leadership
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risks requiring mitigation
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit practices
- Mentor junior analysts and improve departmental credit assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial banking or lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of FASB/IFRS accounting standards
