Responsibilities
- Analyze Financial Data: Conduct in-depth reviews of credit applications, financial statements, and borrower histories to determine creditworthiness.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and collateral value to calculate risk scores and set appropriate credit limits.
- Report Generation: Draft comprehensive credit memos and risk reports for review by senior management and loan committees.
- Account Monitoring: Monitor existing accounts for deteriorating credit quality and proactively recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all credit decisions adhere to company policies and relevant banking regulations.
- System Maintenance: Update and maintain accurate records in the CRM and credit management systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial risk assessment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions) and experience with ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when processing data and preparing documentation.
