Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee time sheets.
- Send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for tax documents.
- Support the finance team during the year-end audit process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic US tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
