Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily general ledger entries and reconcile bank statements accurately.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices with high precision.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Support the month-end close process and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records in strict compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team on special projects during off-peak hours.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Must be available to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
