Responsibilities
- Manage Night-Close Procedures: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reconciled before the start of the business day.
- General Ledger Management: Perform daily journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and investigate discrepancies with a high degree of accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for internal review and external auditing.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors while managing incoming customer payments.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all financial activities comply with internal controls and regulatory standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Payroll Support: Review and validate payroll data to ensure accuracy for night-shift employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certification: CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity under tight deadlines.
