Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable and receivable with precision and timeliness
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for client review
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings as needed
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software efficiently
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- QuickBooks certification (highly desirable)
