Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payroll data.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audit support as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic payroll processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
