Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and prepare monthly financial statements for clients
- Manage QuickBooks data entry and ensure data integrity
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation audits
- Generate financial reports and variance analyses for stakeholders
- Implement and improve accounting systems for efficiency
- Communicate financial insights to non-financial team members
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
