Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and services, and resolve issues with a smile.
- Security & Compliance: Adhere to all bank security protocols and regulatory compliance standards to protect customer assets.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend and sell financial products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Operations Support: Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing the vault and maintaining the lobby.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a bank teller or in customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills with the ability to count cash accurately under pressure.
- Attributes: Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Technology: Proficiency with basic computer applications and POS systems.
