Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with 100% accuracy.
- Cash checks and verify identification documents in compliance with regulations.
- Cross-sell banking products such as CDs, loans, and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Balance the daily cash drawer and reconcile the teller line daily.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming branch environment for all visitors.
- Assist in opening new checking and savings accounts for prospective clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in Finance is a plus.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with banking software and ATM operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
