Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist high-net-worth clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their financial positions.
- Communicate complex tax information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage year-end tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation required.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation or accounting is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of IRS regulations and current tax codes.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSystem fx, Lacerte).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
