Responsibilities
- Process and code invoices accurately, ensuring all supporting documentation is attached and verified.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the accounts payable general ledger by performing data entry and maintaining up-to-date records.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status, inquiries, and billing discrepancies.
- Assist in the month-end close process by preparing AP aging reports and accruals.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) to manage workflow and document storage.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
