As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients and company. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process and code invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Organize and maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the month-end close process and assist with payroll data entry.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (training will be provided).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
