Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and general ledger entries.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and government reporting.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a part-time capacity.
