Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Provide financial analysis support to the senior management team as needed.
- Organize and file financial documents for audit readiness.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
