Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and general ledger reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees with high accuracy.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting support to the senior management team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule of approximately 20-25 hours per week.
