Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly with precision.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of individual and corporate tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Process payroll for our small-to-medium sized client base.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
