Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare detailed financial statements and analytical reports for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance accounting efficiency
- Support annual audits and tax preparation activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
