As a Part-Time Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accuracy in reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support month-end close processes. Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and credit card reconciliations.
- Process and review invoices for accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and aging reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation as needed.
- Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
