Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including the balance sheet and profit and loss statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll for designated employees using [Software Name].
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records and documentation.
- Assist with year-end audit preparations and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
