Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
