Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting best practices and software usage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate setting.
