Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and account analyses to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and forecasting initiatives.
- Perform internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
