Your Role
As a Part-Time Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will handle a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and monthly reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Support the payroll process for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations in California.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
