Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Monitor accounts for doubtful accounts and prepare aging reports.
- Assist external auditors with requested documentation and schedules.
- Process invoices, verify expenses, and maintain organized filing systems.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Must be able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
