Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank accounts
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain digital filing systems with SOX-compliant documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial modeling projects
- Provide responsive client support via email and scheduled calls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Washington state tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error detection capabilities
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Xero a plus
