Responsibilities
- Manage monthly bookkeeping cycles including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for small to medium-sized enterprises
- Assist with payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Support audits and financial reporting initiatives
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for transaction tracking and financial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience (preferably in public practice)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software platforms
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
