Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter and code invoices into the accounting system (QuickBooks/SAP).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and payment status.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files of invoices and supporting documents.
- Assist the AP team with ad-hoc projects and data analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
