Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions monthly
- Assist with year-end audits and tax document preparation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Provide proactive financial insights to clients during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions, VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
