We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our Albuquerque clients with accurate financial management. Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, ensuring accuracy in financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow monitoring
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for transaction processing
- Collaborate with senior accountants on tax preparation and planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's preferred
- 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Active CPA certification or pursuing CPA designation
- Valid New Mexico business license
