Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using industry-standard payroll software.
- Verify and enter employee time sheets, leave requests, and deduction information with high accuracy.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of employee personnel files and payroll records.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax forms, and payroll deductions in a professional manner.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
- Identify and correct data entry errors to prevent payroll discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in large datasets.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new payroll systems and processes.
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations accurately.
