Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor communications
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records
- Prepare tax documentation and support external audits
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with day-shift team during transition periods
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven night shift or flexible schedule work history
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of NM tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
