Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are posted correctly during the night shift.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end close procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding payment status and account inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the night shift hours.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
