In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and driving strategic decision-making through data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including general ledger reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for internal review and external reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budgeting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
