Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and cash flow projections for executive leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal controls.
- Assist with external audits and internal compliance reviews.
- Streamline accounting software processes and implement best practices for financial data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
