Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a nightly basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payroll with precision, ensuring all hours and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist with budget preparation and month-end close procedures.
- Perform internal audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) is a plus.
