Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems for multi-entity clients
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax preparation
- Develop financial reports and KPI dashboards for client stakeholders
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification or equivalent (e.g., CMA) strongly preferred
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial statement preparation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for client stakeholder interactions
