Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and week-end closing procedures, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid on time.
- Prepare financial reports and balance sheets for management review.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for tax documents.
- Assist with payroll processing for the weekend team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
