Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure financial integrity.
- Process payroll for the night shift workforce and handle expense reports.
- Assist in the monthly and year-end closing process by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Monitor and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts on a nightly basis.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
