Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable invoices, payments, and bank deposits with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for tax preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
