Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable with precision
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM) with flexibility during peak periods
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly valued
