Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Lead financial reporting initiatives for executive stakeholders and external auditors
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze operational KPIs and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau)
