Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Process payroll entries and ensure accurate time tracking for night shift staff.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shift hours (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience working in a high-volume financial environment is highly desirable.
