Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts nightly to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process payroll entries and generate weekly payroll reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and adjusting journal entries.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial files for audit readiness.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries during business hours.
- Utilize accounting software to input data and generate ad-hoc financial reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas).
- Must be available and willing to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
