Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain daily general ledger entries and accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with high accuracy.
- Process payroll for a diverse client base on a nightly schedule.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation support and quarterly filings.
- Ensure all financial data is entered into the accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) accurately.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors immediately.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
